ACID Balance is a preparation containing two natural antacid compo-unds: calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate.These are alkaline salts which, when reacted with HCl, transform it into water and mineral salts.
Calcium carbonate has a fast and strong neutralizing effect, while ma-gnesium carbonate enhances the action of calcium carbonate. Both salts protect the mucosa of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum against the damaging effects of gastric juice.They are commonly used during hyperacidity (increased content of hyd-rochloric acid in gastric acid), which is accompanied by side effects and disorders such as: heartburn, chronic bloating or stomach and intestinal ulcers.The other ingredients of the product: starch and inulin have a protective effect on the gastric mucosa, the green tea extract demonstrates anti-bacterial and antioxidant activity, supports the treatment of the digestive system inflammations.
INDICATION:
• during the regurgitation,
• during and after vomiting,
• diarrheas,
• for patients treated with product that lower the pH of the sto-mach
USAGE: Recommended daily amount of the product to be given according to the body weight of the animal:
Cats, small and medium dogs < 20 kg b.w. – ½ capsule twice daily, half an hour before feeding
Large dogs 20-40 kg b.w. – 1 capsule twice daily, half an hour before feeding
Giant dogs > 40 kg b.w. – 2 capsules twice daily, half an hour before feeding
Product is in the form of openable capsules. It is recommended to mix the product with kibble, wet feed or water. Recommended daily dose can be divided into a couple of smaller portions during the day.
Recommended amount of product to be given should not be ex-ceeded. Product should not be used if calcium is supplemented from other sources.One capsule of the product contains 136 mg of calcium
