PROBIOACTIV has clear anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action against E.coli, Clostridium, Salmonella spp, Yersinia, Candida spp. Saccharomyces boulardii produces the protease that inactivates toxin A produced by Clostridium difficile.
The yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. Boulardii supports the protection and regeneration of the intestinal mucosa. It has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action against many pathogenic intestinal microorganisms.
Lactobacillus rhamnosus - lowers the pH of the intestinal tract through the production of lactic acid and consequently prevents the growth of pathogenic microorganisms.
PROBIOACTIV contains pure yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. Boulardii, Lactobacillus rhamnosus lactic acid bacteria as well as prebiotics (oligofructose).
Treatment of Diarrhea: The unique composition of PROBIOACTIV effectively contributes to the treatment of diarrhea. The product is suitable for simultaneous use with antibiotics. It is indicated in cases of acute diarrhea, chronic enteropathy, inflammatory bowel disease and helps prevent candidiasis.
Composition: Yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae var Boulardii, Oligofructose, Magnesium stearate, Calcium carbonate (shell), Starch (shell), Potassium acetate (shell).
Analytical Ingredients: Moisture <8%, Protein 16.1%, Fiber 54.5%, Fat 7.0%, Ash 2.2%, Magnesium 0.2%, Potassium 0.1%, Calcium 0.6%, Starch 0.3%. Additional Ingredients: Methylcellulose (shell), Lactobacillus rhamnosus (1.9 x 109 cfu/g), Carrageenan (shell).
Instructions for Use: Recommended daily dosage depending on the body weight of the animal:
     <20 kg – 1 capsule
     20-40kg – 2 capsules
     >40kg – 3 capsules
If necessary, open the capsule and mix the contents into the food. If the feeding method is based only on dry food, it should be slightly moistened to ensure good adhesion of the contents of the capsule and its complete absorption. Storage: Store in a cool and shady place.
