Stage 1 (Cleansing and exfoliation bath): Wet the animal with warm running water, apply a small amount of shampoo, lather all over the body and then rinse. Stage 2 (Therapeutic bath): Apply a small amount of shampoo and massage the animal's coat and skin for a few minutes. Leave the foam on for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Dry the animal using a towel.
CAUTION: Do not use a hair dryer as it may over-dehydrate the skin, increase itching and worsen the skin condition.
Recommended Use of Shampoo: In skin inflammations and visible signs of illness: 2-3 times a week for 2-3 weeks. When the symptoms of inflammation and disease have disappeared, it is recommended to reduce the use of shampoo to 1 time every 7-10 hours. Alternatively, consult your vet. Preventive: 1-2 times a month or as recommended by the veterinarian.
